Same thing happened to me. I cut some small black tubing and lined the inside edge of the cluster surround with it. The rattle is no more. Took all of 10 minutes.

2wheeladict I'd take a look at your motor mounts first if you've never replaced them. A hundred times easier than pullin the dash and is probably the culprit

mac.mogul Be careful if you've got the silver dash inserts. They scratch easily.

Dashboard removal

Hello Guys!
There is some annoying rattling coming from the dashboard, I'd like to remove the whole plastic cover thing to take a look at. Anybody know how to do it?
