inis yep, worked fine for remainder of that summer. I didnt drive the car at all in 12'. Should have it going again soon.

Roushturboedzx3 When did anyone mention the 044? Were taking about the new deutchworks drop in 340 pump. Same size as the walbro 255

Plus 044 is made by bosch

I like how everyone keeps comparing the 044 to the aeromotive drop-in, when the 044 is no where near a drop in unit. Its a completely different type of fuel pump.

So far I'm loving the pump, how quite it is impresses me the most.

Also someone mentioned qaulity, I'm impressed on how its built...but I didnt expect to pull the metal tip off the pump when I removed the hose. I had to press it back on. It could have ended pretty sour because I was over the gas tank at the time that happened, thankfully I caught the piece before it took a swim.

Well I feel like the aeromotive product is still good and I have always had great success with their other products. Just I don't know why they did it.
