darossi3 i have one from fswerks and i also have an exhaust leak up front. Its not louder up front than back but i can smell the exhaust on startup through my vents and hear spurts of air when my cylinders fire. like when you blip an air hose. its not too loud though and the exhaust sounds amazing. (full fswerks race setup with resonator)

anarchy0392 Dead therd, lo. but did you remove both cat hangers from the engine and not use the one that came with it let it bolt up to the head thats all it needs if any of them mount/hangers are on it or used thats your problem

sgtsmasher its weird how so many people have bought this set up and have complained about it sucking balls lol. ive had mine on for 2 years now and the only thing that i did to it originally was hammered the shit out of the top of the flex pipe and that fixed the fitment issue, but now after a year and half i can hear it whistle from being worn out. but soon i am getting rid of all that shiznit and going with my titanium wrapped svt header with a 3" ORP with 2 o2 bungs welded on for the o2 sensor and wide band hook up then to my 3" flex to cat to res to exhaust lol yea i said f it and went biggie

focusmaniaczx3 ah yes i remember those ebay headers now. i have one of those exact same headers and fitment was a biznatch. the collector may be rubbing the oil pan and the vibration is causing alot of racket as well. when i installed mine i had that issue and i fixed it by dangling my fat ass from the collector with the car jacked about 6ft up in the air until it bent it down off the oil pan.

now if yours was a bad enough fit you may have torn the flex pipe in the process of installing it and didnt even realize it.

lildisco seeing how the title of the picture is Cheap Ebay Header, there may be your problem. Fitment may not be quite right and is causing an exhaust leak somewhere. You should be able to hear/see exhaust fumes coming out on a cold startup.

sleepyboy Also don't forget to torque them down in the correct sequence. Also like the others have said it sounds like you have a exhaust leak somewhere. Or maybe even your flex pipe, it could have developed a hole when you unbolted it and bolted it back on?

Andrews-bad-SE It sounds like it's leaking at the head, at the manifold gasket. I did the exact same thing you did (header with stock exhaust until I put in my new stainless) and it leaked some at the head, just make sure its lined up right, and that all your manifold bolts are torqued correctly.
