I have a feeling just signing their names will be difficult for some members here, let alone shipping something to the next member on the list.
I've done this a few times with other forums and it never works out well. Somewhere in the world there is a 3.7mustang.com dollar with signatures on it that still hasn't made its way to my door and it's been over 15 months since I got rid of my Mustang...
People stop caring, they forget to send the item, they never receive the item, they are no longer active members, etc etc etc...
I think if you only allowed members over the age of 25 with a minimum post count to participate, then maybe you'd have a successful project!

|swansong||I remember this starting up when I was still active on TRS. Pretty cool that they ended up by Chance, classy thing to do for a classy forum!|

|Malibooya||If FF does this, we have to have a grammatically correct sign. For God's sake...|

I stand corrected this is the distance it has travel so far. They are actually not sure who has it right now. Most likely it's in transit to the next destination. This started in April to current.

I know some of those blue markers, just mark where members are from a lot drove into the states to meet up with banner to sign it. I don't think it actually made it all the way down to florida but they had a lot of members drive up and sign it. The green is pretty much the path it traveled many drove hours to come sign it. We just would announce the next stop to where it would be passed on to another member if you could show feel free. I know severl members to like a week off work and literally drove the banner around their state so lots of people could get it. Like the guy in the blue shirt that took it from ohio to indiana, after he ran it to a couple spots in indiana he drove down to kentucky and handed it off to those guys who then continued to take it south. It was pretty orginized, and took us over a year to get it from point a to point b. We are actually have another one right now called the Keywest to Alaska tour. it's somewhere in cananda as I type this.
That way even more members can get in on it.

|azdamay||Looking at that map, it didn't exactly take the direct route did it? It even made some stops up in Canada! Neat idea though, good way to keep forum members active and interested.|
