tukaniSVT So, did you go and check out the local auto stores to find a pan?

12-30-2012 01:22 PM
darkstar Half inch I would say lol. Pretty low I know, its because I am running 15s and low profile tires.

Alex Arce damn that really sucks to hear. how low is your car?

darkstar Made home safely with dripping jb welded and plastered with duct tape :p here is the carnage pictures :)

Skid plates is definitely next thing on my list!
Autozone sells new pan for $60, it needs to be special ordered so I might pop up tomorrow. It is not my only means of transportation, I am able to use wj jeep anytime.

tukaniSVT Though the RockAuto price is the better price, I believe he is looking for a good option available now and not waiting for shipping.

Seems to be his only means of transportation.

I would check with the autoparts store get a pan and some gasket maker. A couple of beers, some socket wrenches, clean, gasket maker, put back in place and voila, back in business. ... oh and some new oil.

sleepyboy What ever works to limp it home I say. Just make sure you don't do something that make it worse.

ah1f39 The oilpan is available from the Ford dealer for less than $100. Also from Rockauto for about $65.

darkstar Lol I thought of that, I already wasted a fresh oil.
I am just really exhausted tonight, crashing at my friends house and will see what happens tomorrow. I guess I will have to tape it up more with duct ha.
