well if it's just textured plastic then re-dye it...

lyonsroar Take a picture

If it is the part I'm thinking it's just painted. Use whatever product you normally use to polish your paint.

02fordsvt Two options I would suggest.

One would be to repaint everything with black paint again. It's pretty straight forward with the hardest part being taping off everything surrounding the trim so you don't get over spray. If you put a little bit more time into it, you can get a high gloss finish on all the trim rather than the flat black that it was from the factory.

The second option is to use black Plastidip. It's much like paint except it can be pealed back off if you don't like it or if you get a little bit of over spray. You wouldn't even have to tape anything off before spraying and just peal it off from the windows when your done.

Black around door windows

Thanks in advance. I have a white 07 wagon. The black trim around the door windows has faded and really contrasts with the rear side windows of the wagon. I have tried several products but nothing brings back the shine. I think it is metal trim and am afraid to try any of the products for plastic trim. Do you have any suggestions?
