You could pick up a cheapo aftermarket shift knob in the meantime, they usually attach with set screws and would work for the time being. I don't really care for the shape of the factory shift knob and actually changed it right away, but eventually drilled out and re-tapped the set screw holes to use bigger hardware to keep it more secure.
Congrats on the newish car, you found the right color IMO.

Yup i know what u mean, im not a mechanic either but owning a turbo car in the past i was obligated to learn the hard basics, and fast lol. I used to pro motocross back home but that was ages ago

|mrdivito||How would you check them? I'm kinda new to to automotive focus thing but I've had a lot of expirence with 4 stroke dirtbike/atv engines witch are basically the same thing but a lot bigger|

|FLYLOW||Engine mounts? Rpms change when clutch is used, causing it to vibrate. You can check the top 2 just by opening the hood but u have to get ur back dirty to check the bottom/trany/wish bone mount|

|mrdivito||Ditch the wheels? No. I like the wheels I have, they look better in person. It's not a vibrating noise the steering wheel actually vibrates when I let the clutch out|

Ouch ditch the wheels man! Get the multi spoke ones!
Also the vibrating noice might be the heat shields on header or cat. Get underneath the car until u can touch them and shake them around with hand, see if thats it. Please make sure the exhaust is cold lol
And the oem flywheel is dual mass, its noisy and rattles a bit

|felixthecat||Use wheel acid. Do one wheel at a time. Just spray it on & watch it work & make sure you have a hose handy 1st. The second you spray it around, hose it off. You may have to do it again, depending on how bad it is.|

the clutch job was done by a shop, he showed me the papers, it has a magnaflow exhaust on it and the bolts look to be ok, thats the only modification to the car besides rims, here is a crappy cell phone pic, the interior is in excellent shape, the drivers side seat warmer doesnt work (sucks on freezing cold mornings), no antenna on top, front end shakes at 50+ mph, and what ive just noticed, sometimes when i let the clutch out it makes a weird vibrating noise (cant explain it) and goes away when clutch is all way the out.
does anyone know the best way to get this rust and dirt built up crap off the inside of the rims? ive tried 000 steel whool and coke, doesnt work. ive tried aluminum wheel cleaner and doesnt do a thing.
