sailor Since this popped up to the top again, moved it to the ST General section from the ST Engine Performance Mods one.

Elizabeth MPG...
Well it all depends on how you drive it.
If I am forced to go to the 'East Side" in the local big city (all stop light to stop light, narrow streets, endless stop start, endless waiting at stoplights.). I get 24MPG on a good day.

Driving on a NOT crowded freeway at 50 or 55mph on cruise control? 34mpg.
Since I avoid crowded stop and go streets and rush hour on the freeway... My over 3,000 mile average is 32.1 MPG.
And that includes the once in awhile 'down to 3rd' blast (90ish up to 100mph.)

So it is all in the right foot. And traffic conditions.

I've got Weather Tech Floor Liners and I love them.
I have the Husky Floor Mats - they're great too. Though I don't have a shiny Steeda dead pedal thing - almost too much bling :)

But right now it's averaging about 23-24 between city and highway. But this car is definitely a poor mans Mustang GT. It has plenty of power and the shifting is as easy as a hot knife cutting through butter. I've stored it away for the winter but not before installing the Roush CAI. Next is just some simple bolt on's until I get the cash for the exhaust and tuner. I plan on adding 20mm wheel spacers, BOV and the Cobb Short throw shifter plate instead of ripping apart my interior for a short throw shifter. Cheaper and easier. Happy driving and stay safe everyone!
Yep - MPG is a shock for me too!

felixthecat For exhaust, go for the Cobb downpipe...

My curiosity has grown over this car and I'd like to know more about the cars from the owner's perspective. Feel free to talk about the car's creature comforts, ride, handling, performance and ahem, even mileage.

Oh and bonus points for the folks who drove the Mark I FoFo's :)
Funny story. I started this thread when the ST came out and yesterday (4 years later) I went out and bought a 2013 ST-3, tangerine scream with only 10,300 miles! Full circle.
