2wheeladict I was under the impression bearing clearances and orifaces control oil psi. The pump controls volume.

1turbofocus Turbos don't create any more oil psi , oil psi is controlled by the oil pump
Adding a turbo wont make more oil psi so if you have a turbo and go to non turbo oil psi will be the same

Does turbo to NA create oil pressure?

So i know this title sounds weird, but I know when putting a turbo on a car not meant for turbo like the zetec, the turbo creates oil pressure. Now does anyone know if this oil pressure will effect anything if going back to NA? Is there any way to lessen this oil pressure so that piston rings are not blown?
