Yeah I had a cai on it before and loved it. Noticed a slight gain at high way speeds and it sounded nice.
I have something that will work like you suggested, but I'm going to try to run some brake cooling ducts as well so not sure if I want to use ut

Nice. I haven't touched the intake on the svt, but I liked a cai on the zx3. Made a noticeable difference on the butt dyno. & that is a great spot for the filter.
Doubtful it would be worth the time, I'm just thinking.. Say.. an oil funnel cut in half and mounted to inside of foglight hole. And it would act like a scoop to essentially shoot all the incoming air into the filter.

not a major update...
but i made my own CAI today
i connected that hose, don't worry.
and filter just about behind the "fog light"
this was without trimming any of the piping. i will go back and wrap it all to prevent heat transfer

bahahaha... Kraken needs a turbo... badly...
and only doing intake, exhaust, drop and tuner for FiST..
at least for a couple years..
