- After connecting to the car the first time the bluefin asked me to connect it to the computer. So it sent the original map to superchips and immediately I received a mail saying there was the remap to download. Which I obviously downloaded. Then I've been able to reconnect to the car and reprogram the ECU with the bluefin map.
- No problem of freeze or hang of the ECU, just a little flaw. During the start of the program process the bord computer said "ENGINE FAULT, REPAIR IMMEDIATELY" and then went to protection mode. But probably it's normal because Bluefin didn't stop working and then rebooted the ECU and finally said "BLUEFIN INSTALLED!"

Well I also bought the bluefin and I'm waiting the time to do the remap.
Just one question, did you have to send the original map with computer software to superchips BEFORE remap? Or does the bluefin remapped the car at the first connection?
Another question: what age of production is your car ?
I read some changes happened in Ecoboost 1.6 ECUs after July 2011.
I fear they were about anti-OBD-tuning, anyway mine is from february 2011.

|Kethav||Ok, it sounds right, but the feeling with the K&N air kit is that... I didn't check with dyno tests but the car seems to have a little more torque...|

|cuke2u||Apologies, I was having highly dense moment and typed in the wrong density..|

And yes, pulling in warmer air can undo any gains made by lower resistance.

|cuke2u||Hi, I always think that the claims made by K&N filters to be dubious. Obviously the engine can breath easier but that doesn't necessarily translate into any increases. In fact, if the filter box is replaced completely with a filter under the bonnet it will be sucking in hot, more dense, air, not a good idea.|

Well, to be honest I have no problems with intake air quantity because I fitted a K&N performance kit with an original spare airbox taken directly from the ST version. (with double pipes).
Just with the K&N kit it took a bit of more torque at low rpm, with the airbox then a small amount too...
So, I'm not afraid of having too less air into the engine :P :P
