ChalupaJones If you can reinstall everything with it superglued I don't see it being a problem

ChalupaJones No idea but I've still got my stock shifter knob if worse comes to worse. I can sell it to you cheap and won't bust your balls on shipping :P. Super glue will definitely keep it from moving though.

Next order of business is the shift knob. It's been rattling whenever I go between gears and it's not hard to figure out that it's the silver trim at the bottom. Do you know if all I need to do is superglue that piece that's sticking out?

I got quoted for $78 from the dealer for the shifter trim up here in Canada. This is for the all black one without the Sync badge. I'm gonna do some more calling and see if I can find a better price at a junkyard or another dealer.

I like that look!

I figured it'd be easier if I posted it here. The chip is on the bottom.

I found it on fordparts.com. It's crazy how expensive a piece of plastic is. I tried looking on eBay for the part, but I couldn't find any for a manual transmission. As well, I'm in Canada so I can't order from fordparts.com I believe. I may have to pay a visit to the dealer tomorrow ...
