Here is the reply I got from them regarding the difference between kontrol pro and rally spec ar. Called him after as well and def reccomended the kontrol pro. He did also tell me the the chrome and orange version hasn't been made since 2008 so anything you buy new should be the black and orange ones.

The Asphalt Rally setup has stiffer springs on it and the kontrol pro is actually the street setup. I would recommend the kontrol pro setup for the car as it is 36 way adjustable dampening and I used it on my street car for both auto x and nasa DE events up through time trials.
I can help you get a set on order for you car. The Asphalt Rally setup is more in the middle of the road in regards to spring stiffness. The street kit is the kontrol pro, then the stiffer asphalt rally, then the RR version (road race) which I would not recommend be driven on a street.

I just got a set of DGR coil overs from a member on here, they work great but the owner isn't answering people very often so take it with a grain of salt.
I can go lower but I scrape muffler at the moment.

|Kipp||Youll be fine with the setup it comes with. I like the ksports also for the adjustabkle damper, but moreso for the fact that the ride height is not based off the spring perch but the base is adjustable. So you still get full damper travel and are not shortening the stroke to go lower like some do. Very ingenius design.|

Im trying to figure out if I want to get the H&R or the KSports.
If I was to get the H&R I would get the SPC front camber/caster plates.
I like how the KSports have adjustable damper.

for KSport they have the Kontrol Pro (road race) or the Rally Spec AR (asphalt rally racing). i just sent them an email to get some advice comparing the two. wondering which one will handle some racing (drag or autox) as well as doing well with the crappy roads that I have to drive on around the midwest. i'm wondering if the rally ar would be able to take more abuse on the roads around here and might be a better choice for all around use.
I'll let ya know what they say.
btw not much of a price difference between the two if you were wondering. $1365 for the rally spec ar vs. $1027.50 for the kontrol pro.

As far as coilovers go, check out tirerack. They have some listed for the 08+. That will give you an idea of what you can use. FSWerks and Tirerack both sell the H&R kit for the 08+. As previously stated you can also get a set of Ksports.
If you want more suspension options, either buy an Massive Omni Kit or swap your front knuckles to '05 knuckles. This will allow you to run the earlier style suspensions giving you more options on kit.

The cars you have are classified as MK1.5 as they are still called a C170 chassis, pull the wire harness under the front seat and it should be marked on there C170.

would these work? It says Focus RS MK2. Im assuming thats the european version?
