Geezer The offset is usually embossed or engraved on the inside side of the rim or on the back of a spoke. In many cases it's preceded with the letters "et". In some cases its sometimes a number within a circle.

SVTisRight4me get some stock svt rims they wont bend like aftermarket will. i run 225s 45 17. Minor rubbing mostly never rubs. the svt has factory rolled fenders. roll your fenders. like i said it has only rubbed 1 or 2 times. mainly going fast on a road that dips up and down.
my advise is get some fancy stock rims off a svt. the 2004 european package ones. like these

JFrye My next tire to try was going to be a 215/50 since I have more availability to the more commonly used sizes. I do not know anything about the wheels. I dont even know the brand. I post a link, to a picture, hoping someone could recognize the wheel type, and hopefully point me in the right direction to find some information on these wheels.

JFrye I wish I could. I can post a link to a picture of the wheels, but I cant seem to find a brand name or anything about these things. Ive been trying to locate that though, bc I need centercaps for them. Heres a link to a picture of a car that has the same wheels. Any input on the wheels would be awesome.

I know, eBay, but its the only picture I can find of these wheels.

Geezer I used 215/45-17 with our Eibach Pros and no rubbing. The pros, however only drop the car 1.5" compared to the sportlines. 205/45-17 is a reasonably popular replacement size as well. It is also an ideal overall tire diameter and due to its width, less likely to rub under lowering conditions. A lot depends on the wheel offset as to what will and will not rub. Can you share the offset of your new wheels with us?

JFrye That's why I wanted to ask for opinions. The 225 fills the fender really well, and barely rubs on the inner fender, but still rubs. I prefer not to run a 40 series, due to the fact I don't want to bend wheels. I think I will find a ser of 215/45's and see how those work, unless other suggestions are given. Thanks for the input.

Go for a 215/40 or a 215/45.

Whoa, 225/50's are way to big a diameter. >>Try a 215/40 or a 215/45. <<Your 205/40 is 'bout 23.40'' diameter. A 215/40 is a 23.90'' & a 215/45 is a 24.65''. And your 225/50 is a 25.95.
