Andrews-bad-SE Update number whatever it is! lol.

There was a vacuum tube with a connector right under the throttle body, I guess it goes to my EGR solenoid? I don't really know what it is...

Anyway it was sucking air. I replaced that with some 7/16" fuel line, made sure it wasn't sucking air anymore. No apparent leaks from the EGR or anything else, and no CEL's yet... Let's keep our fingers crossed!

Thanks again to everyone for the input and tips and tricks.

lol I learned that the hard way, for sure. I'm going to check those hoses, because this all never really started until I changed that. I was originally trying to fix a P0401, then the snowball started rolling and here I am. Thanks for the trick!

The DPFE is the "egr pressure feedback" sensor, right? the one with two hoses and an electrical connector mounted with two screws to the firewall?

It's new... I thought the same thing. Also, I accidentally broke my old one while hooking up a new EGR tube. Woops!

matmatician Iminhell's pretty good with this stuff, he helped me troubleshoot an o2 sensor that was causing me to burn rich.

Andrews-bad-SE Alright here's an update... its also throwing "egr insufficient flow" and "system lean bank 1." I think i could have a vac leak, maybe the Egr gasket? is this a sound theory?

I know you just said it sounds like I'm running rich... Not knocking your input. Just updating my info

iminhell A vacuum leak will generally go lean. You're going rich. That indicates either an air metering issue (bad MAFS) or something in the fuel system (sticking injector, high pressure, leaking Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor).
Knowing that will help narrow down the list of possibles.

Things like this can be tough and that's why we needed more info.
I'm confident we can get this sorted out. Will just take a bit of time and good scan tool with live data. Don't want you replacing good parts.

Andrews-bad-SE my scan tool cant do live data, but my buddys got a genesys that can do that. ill check that fuse... (i didnt even know there was one for that...). MAF is in correctly, and not leaking. No obvious vac. leaks, but thats not saying there isnt any at all. thanks a lot man!
