fast*st Well, the Ford book and some other resources, someone might post it but there is a flowchart, it gives you step by step procedures to track down the exact cause of the error. I don't recall how nice the Ford dealers around there are, but you could ask the service department for a printout of the steps to follow. I bought the books for my Focus, I think the steps are in there but they're not handy at the moment.

fast*st Well, might need a new gas cap if that's the culprit. Else, this is an emissions only and not a blow up your car kind of error. Let it ride until the rainy season is over.

AllCarFan 9 times out of 10...disconnecting your battery, removing your gas cap, tightening it back up and connecting yout battery will fix that code]

The main sales manager pointed out the problem

^^ is this the correct part to fix my car
Please help with any advice or a lead to getting this part at a very inexpensive price. Money is very right right now bcuz I jus moved out of my parents house!
