alteredego Yeah...somethings wrong. You should be seeing an improvement in performance. No degradation.

Boxed wrong?

I'd verify part numbers individually and go from there.

alteredego Isn't that the part number for the standard Focus suspension and NOT SVT bits?

Certainly doesn't look like an SVT ride height. The changes you describe are exactly what a standard suspension would feel like when hopping out of an SVT...

SVT suspension always had that nice euro front to rear rake...yours does not. It looks like a standard car.

sailor FWIW - I have an '04 ZTS with the same '04 wheels & suspension kit installed.

I just re-measured the distance from tire to fender lip as you did in the pictures, and it matches exactly. 2" at the front, and 2.5" at the rear.

Hope that helps, it looks to me like the proper "new" ride height. The "drop" I got from stock suspension to SVT kit was about .5".

sleepyboy What about the rear sway bar bushing? The fronts should be fine if it was done not to long ago.

Howdy

No, the oly other parts I changed were the moog sway bar end links a few weeks ago.

sleepyboy Wow your front end is so much higher than mine is new and in 06'. I'd give it a little bit of time to settle and then see how it is. Have you replaced your sway bar bushings ever?

bigb7000 Photo when it was new with about 100 or so miles on the car. not the same angle but you can see there is less space from the tire to the body.

This was from 2006

AliasJerk Every set of springs has a break in period, when I put my saleen springs on I swear the car had no difference in ride height compared to my broken in SVT springs. Drove on it for like 3-4 months and they settled right down.
