3% speedometer difference is the limit anymore and your guessing. I think that the limit to tire dealers can sell you.

simm60 You can find Ford Windstar rims and use it on you 2012 Focus. I found 4 11 spokes alum wheels at a good price, put 195.65R15 and I am very happy about handling

PratoN Does anyone have any pictures of their MK3 with 15" aftermarket alloy rims or non-oem hubcaps? (I think the S hubcaps are hideous.)

I'm debating getting 15" alloys for my winter tires, but I'm not sure if it's worth it if they're going to look too tiny. I've used tirerack's website and I'm not convinced if I should go for mpg (lightweight 15") or settle at 16" so that they're not hideous.

I'll probably just keep the 15" steelies I have and get some hubcaps.

EDIT: Maybe I'll even go non-OE tire size and mess with the final drive ratio so I can get better highway mileage (I drive 100 miles a day, almost no stop-and-go.)

mopdog I just piced up my 2013 tonite, the trans feels better then the 2012 I was driving. Gonna try the 15" rims soon, hope they dont look too funny being 15's cause its gonna be alot cheaper then getting 16" rims and new snow tires for sure.

Also look for taurus rims. There are by far more of them out there than MN12 (t-bird/courgar) rims. You should be able to get a set of 15 inch Taurus wheels dirt cheap. Most people just scrap them... heck, I scrapped a set of 15 in taurus rims not more than 3 years go.

Joeywhat I found mine for $40 for the set on Craigslist...they're out there.

Joeywhat It's supposed to read slightly slower, but I don't notice...I think it's technically less then a 1mph difference.

I just deal with the light. Sometimes it flashes for a while then goes solid, other times it just stays solid. Hell, some times the car doesn't even realize it until 20 miles later...but it doesn't really bother me.
