streetfocus This thread became the Dave Ramsey thread quick. Lol. Glad to see people are waking up to getting out of debt, it's a good move. Now back to the OP.

Tom will know what is best. For a DD, you might actually be happier in a fox body. It is cooler to have this level of power in a Focus, but get ready to spend some money getting there.

Im down with that I would love to do something with my suspension drop it a little and tighten up the steering.

I totally agree. That's why I autocross and spend a ton on suspension with a stock motor. I just think its time to go fast in a straight line too.

Jmaczx4st I have had both RWD mustang and now my FWD ST focus. I have to say I Love my fofo and with the right mods they are a beast and fun to drive. I agree a faster car isn't always better. It's the thrill of the drive!

Thank you for some real answers Bob. My economic situation wasn't part of my OP, but oh well.

I was planning on race clutch and LSD, but wasn't sure if the tranny/drivetrainn could handle that power. I don't want to snap the input shaft or halfshafts or something. Kind of want to run street slicks and a wheelie bar, because why not?

However, I may be looking into a fox body

st12131 Well first of all the OP is gainfully employed by our Government (or enslaved), is young, and can more then pay for it with his income.

I would also look at making sure the front end can fit a nice 235-40/17 tire, that would give the the best chance of getting the power to the ground.

I would also look at getting a good clutch kit, LSD is going to be mandatory as well.
