drewts86 Someday I would really like to do a wire tuck using cable sleeving like this. I've done it to enough computers, I guess it's time for me to do it to the car. Wait til summer when I can live without my car.

Thanks!

drewts86 You can see through them, although barely. Some of the computer modding stores also have UV reactive braided sleeving too. I've got a computer case I'm working on that has the UV reactive red sleeving and it's going to look sweet when it's done.

As you can see in the pics, the wires inside the looms are only just barely visible.

JFrye I would be very interested in seeing a installed pic of these. Can you see through them, or is it more like a solid peice? I wouldnt really want to take the time to install these if you can see the wires through them.

They do look pretty sweet, and I appreciate the input.

drewts86 Actually, if you've got the time and energy these will look even better

They take more time because you will have to pull the connectors off of the ends of the wires you plan on wrapping, but in the end in will look much better/cleaner. You'll need computer modding tools to pulls the pins out of the connectors without damaging them. You'll also want to use heatshrink on the ends of the wire cover as well, and they have colored heatshrink if you'd like to match everything. http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l2/g35/...at_Shrink.html

Something like this for the wire tools to pull the connectors:

I use those tools and the braided cable sleeving to mod all of the computers I've ever built. If you decide to go that route, PM me for any advice you need.

JFrye Bump. Anyone have any suggestions of places to look?

JFrye That is a good question too. I am unsure of the answer, but would also like to know, seeing as how I will be using all of this in the engine compartment.

Focusblackzx5 maybe a stupid question but...

Are they heat resistant, don't want them to melt on my prestone hose...

thanks :)

JFrye There is no hurry at all. I looked on ebay, and I could not find orange loom. I cant find it anywhere.
