|bawxcar||I used a hair dryer and Bug and Tar remover. Safe on paint! ;-) Didn't use fishing line.. Warmed the badges up and slowly peeled away. Little sticky spots cleaned up with bug and tar remover. Simple.|

|Marbs||Use a PLASTIC razor blade and a heat gun. I've taken MANY badges/dealer stickers off in my days. If any residue is left a little goo-gone work great. Put it on the rag and wipe the residue that's left, don't put the goo-gone directly on the paint.|

I detail for a living and debadgeing is a delicate process use a hair dryer or heat gun on a medium setting and get some floss is fishing line.
Heat the badge up slide the line behid it and work the sting in a saw like motion reheat if it becomes hard to work the line behind the badge.
Use goo be gone or 3 m adhesive remover to get the rest of the sticky part off.
Do not use a razor blade

I can communicate just fine with other people and I do it every single day, both here and elsewhere. The OP wanted to debadge the car, the answer is either heat applied until the glue weakens and pull it off and rub off the excess with some goo-gone, or the dental floss to cut it off and some goo gone, or if its a sticker just the adhesive remover would be needed. Had they searched the forum they would have found the advice they needed without having to create a thread which would theoretically make it harder to find the good advice from the jokes such as just taking an angle grinder to it.

It'll come off much easier and leave less crap if its done while hot. I cannot suggest doing it during these cold months. I'd honestly be afraid of taking some paint off when its cold.
