SterlingSVT12 I have the best of both worlds. Two 12s that are mostly turned down and speakers going in in a few weeks. But yea, I keep my shakes inside the car. No need to bother anyone else with my poor life choices lol.

Chas I haven't been impressed with the sonic speakers, but they work.

FocusedOnSVT I like the stock audio system for the Audiophile pack in my SVT. Looking to upgrade the HU and speakers.

Wonder if it was the one with the huge turbo and the bronze Rota grids? Yeah there was some guy in the caravan on a bike...eff that.

Also, something that I realized is so ******g stupid on the cruise over (if anyone has them, sorry but it is) are super tinted taillights. The guy in front of me in a Cobra had his tails tinted so dark I could hardly see them in combination to the glare from the sun we were driving towards. ******g dumb.

Also, as far as subs go, I didn't like them until I had them. Back in December I fell ass backwards in to some extra money and was stuck in my '06 Fusion. I was desperate to spice it up and enjoy it. So I asked my radio guy if he could do subs which he could and he did 2 12s with a 1000W amp for 400. I thoroughly enjoy it. When I transferred it to the SVTF, I enjoyed it even more. But I don't typically keep my volume above 20. So. Maybe I'm the minority.

Properly installed subs are amazing. Tuning and adjusting them are great. They add that little bit of punch required.

That said I had a big add system in my first car. We all do dumb things.
Yeah, 15 years ago I loved big subs when I first started driving cars. I had two stupid loud 12's that took up most of my trunk. I totally agree, I love bass and subwoofers. But now my ideal set up is a higher end tight sounding single 8" or 10" subwoofer with upgraded surrounding speakers instead of 2 of the biggest bottom of the line subs I can get in a huge ported box.

ah1f39 All my vehicles have subs. I like the punch but don't need to vibrate down the road.

Chas that's not the correct use of the meme.

And there's a time and place for subs, see above ^.
