1turbofocus Biggest thing is much less TQ then turbo and little room to grow , If you go with the PC step up to the larger blower unit , the unit that comes with the kit I have always said is to small and they do have a larger unit that makes more HP/TQ ar a less blower RPM

SVT04MN What's the main drawback of SC? The procharger option look intriguing, and potentially within budget.

BigRed03 i knew about the months to get stuff, but not the welds.

IF I ever build this car up for boost, I'm contracting a friend for his pretty custom work.

ZXthrizzle05 But top speeds shit lately has blownwelds in their manifolds and it takes cl months to receive their kits

BigRed03 boost is addictive. and thats what the fswerks doesnt really support because it uses the stock zetec exhaust manifold. its a great kit, but you'll max it between 250 and 300whp due to flow limitations with that manifold depending on the turbo you choose (id say gt2871 or 28rs).

toms kit is good too.

and top speeds is great if you want to shoot for 400+ whp.

pasta procharger still makes s/c kits the only difference in going turbo is more work but better all around
