fordson04 No they havent least in my car anyway. I have the latest version that they have updated twice for some reason and replaced my microphone and it still sounds like I am driving through a windtunnel to the people on the other line. Just poor design with placement and the roof. I dont think it will ever really work that great. So essentially I have a system that I paid for and wont hardly ever use because it performs so terrible. Kinda wish I had just not gotten the sync package.

If you don't see an update available to download from your SYNC account at www.Support.Ford.com, please contact your dealership to see if there is one that cane perform (have your VIN ready). Also, make sure you explain the issues you are having, no matter how small you may think they are. :)

I tried this with my dealer and was informed I would need to pay for a half hour labour to have it updated.

However, I have only ever taken my car to Dealerships for scheduled maintenance since purchasing it. It's over the Comprehensive warranty kilometers but all the times I took it in before February 2014 (ie. update was released beforehand too), they never told me about an update. Of course they tell you only AFTER it's out of warranty. Very disappointed.

I've tried updating thru Syncmyride but the site says my software is up to date (which it is not). Calling Sync, they told me this update can only be done at dealership if I can't find it online.

Why is something so simple such a cash grab??? We pay $000's of dollars for an incomplete product.

Did they ever solve the Bluetooth mic noise issue?

I don't really have problems with mine, I just think there should be an update to add a couple nice little features. For example, my GF has a base model Honda Civic and it has bluetooth. Even her info screen will display track/artist information when she plays music through Pandora. I don't see why this isn't possible on our cars.

Any idea what version you originally had?
