katiekay There are 3 clips, 2 on the top and 1 on the bottom closest to the car, that one is a pain. You can move the mirror around to see where everything is, and use a flashlight!

sam fisher ok im having a little trouble poppin these caps off , anyone know what i should be doing ? do i need to pop the mirror out?

edit: forgot to say im just going to paint the caps for now

Marbs If it were me I'd sand it first. Sanding will help the paint stick, and clean off anything that might cause a blemish in the paint.

so no sanding before prime? then prime,sand from 4 to 1000 and then paint , clear , sand with 1500 , then reclear????? sorry about all the questions , just wanna make sure iv got these instructions correct so i can do this right the first time.
