FocusHero i have 4 6x8 type r's with 2 polk 12in MM sub woofer they are great but i suggest adding some tweeter in the roof liner it gives it better sound depth

true. I'd deff recommend some kind of matting once you change the speakers though. I just put these R's in and during bass portions of songs all 4 doors rattle. Just an FYI

thisisbenji Well, my main thing isn't necessarily the power. As I won't be changing out the head unit, it's just that the bass that is there isn't clean, and the speakers sound like they are starting to rattle.

I'd wait till you get a new head unit before making the plunge. I got them for $299 out the door for two boxes (4 total) which is crazy cheap but without a head unit they aren't that noticeable unless you listen to some high treble songs. I'd wait till you get a HU and a Dash kit. Speaking of which, My audio guy says they dont stock our dash kits on the west coast so everything's gotta be sent from the east coast and ordered. They start at $199. Ugh

thisisbenji I might actually have to do the Alpine Type-Rs as well. The stock speakers sound like they're already starting to go out.

Cool, thanks Benji. Just found out today the center caps for the wheels need to match the paint after they get them in, so I wont have my wheels for ANOTHER WEEK!!!! buying new sucks haha. Coilovers are sitting in the living room mocking me every time i pass by.

As for pictures / updates I probably wont post anything till next friday, sat, or sunday.
