Well, you can help pay for the Turbo install by selling the Cosworth intake & the Header...
Tom could help steer ya on the Turbo thing BTW

The dragon was awesome. I got a few hours of footage. The focus hung right in with the 500+hp Saleen extreme's and PJs. Up a hill or a straight-away...forget it.
I probably wont do a head/cam swap. Id rather just bolt on a turbo kit.

|felixthecat||Like WRC_Fan said, It should run better w/ dataloging. I'd add a 23 head & a set of cams, like crane's 0010's or crower's entry level one's. I'd wonder if a 23 head would make a big difference. Idk a set of cam's do. Since you have the in & out going. Enjoy your wkend.|

My wife wont let me buy a wideband yet....its on my Christmas list.....haha. I am sure it will be tuned a little better. tom said its going to be tuned rich (safe) - not his exact words.
Now I just need to drop about 400lbs!

|wrc_fan||It should perform even better with some wideband data logging. Should be a good time at the ToD, the slower riders (harleys) don't come out in the cold. Have fun and stay in your lane :)|

XCAL3 mail tune via Tom (great customer service) - tune is without wideband datalogging.
Car idled perfect even without a tune. The car WILL throw a P2004 and P2005 code with the cosworth intake manifold. These codes have to do with the butterfly flaps inside the stock intake. They are eliminated, along with the actuator and sensor. This needs to be turned off in the tune.
I did eliminate my Pzev system, so i did have to cap off one vacuum fitting on the cosworth intake.
So, now onto the performance. Well, with a d20, this is a LOT of air going into the engine. Off idle, the car performs about as well as it did prior to the mods. At part throttle, the car feels great. However, if I am at 1/2 throttle, the car completely bogs until it gets out of the 1900-2700 rpm range. If you give it more throttle, it doesnt help.
After 3000-3200 rpm, the car really gets going. I can feel a big difference in the 4500+ range.
Final evaluation: if you want that low end grunt, stick with a stock tb and intake. if you are into spirited, higher RPM driving, this is a good modification. I am interested to see what this feels like once i boost the engine with about 12psi.
I will have some gopro footgage this weekend. We are taking the car to the Tail of the Dragon in NC. 317 curves in 11 miles.
