Same as with the 3 , just plug into the OBDII port then to your laptop and pick the PID/DMR you want logged and hit the green log button

I experience the exact same thing on any start-up where the car has been sitting for a few hours or longer.
Start car, select gear, gently release clutch, feel stumble as clutch engages, once clutch fully engaged runs fine.
The other thing I have noticed lately is a stumble or slight roughness when I activate my defrost, which I assume might be a vaccum leak, but I've been unable to detect one!

Hey Tom... I'll get on that this weekend when I have a chance.
Although before the last few months, everything was fine so I'm thinking it's something outside of the tune. But regardless, I'll datalog and send it your way to see what you think. Thanks!

I can fix that if you will shoot me a datalog , I will be glad to set up the datalog list for you and show you how to use it
If you dont like the higher idle I can lower that as well once we fix the stating issue
If you have my tune PLEASE contact me with any issues your having , I will be glad to help with them even if it is not tune related

My daily driver SVT does almost the same thing. Initial cold start it revs to 2200rpm for about 1-2 sec then settles to around 1500rpm. I take off in 1st gear and the revs drop and the car bogs pretty bad. Once the car warms up for about a min, no more 1st gear bog. It only seems to do this when the outside temperature is less than about 40-45 degrees. I’ve learned to just deal with it, but if someone else is having the same issue, it makes me wonder…
Anyone else have this problem?

SVT bogging down after a cold start
I know this happens to some people and it's not a huge deal. You just have to 'nurse' the first gear to get the car going and once you do get going, everything works fine.
Ever since I had Tom's tune put on (couple years ago), when I'd start the car it would rev fairly high and then calm down a bit once the car warmed up. I don't exactly remember how it acted before the tune.
Now within the last few months, when I start her up, it revs really low. If I put it into first and then try to drive forward, the revs drop and it almost feels like the car is about to stall. Like I said, I almost have to 'nurse' the car to move forward on that initial shift. Once everything is warmed up and I'm driving, the car pulls as strong as it always has and still fun to drive!
I had my timing belt replaced during the summer but I don't think it's a timing issue.
Any ideas on where I should look?
