indy_11 i'd take the gold. i can't see the 08 but gold would be my choice. plus you'd be one of the few on here to have one

but personally, if you can drive a manual, find one. way better imo.

The dark lights aren't on the 2008 SES. It's on the coupes earlier but not till 2011 on the sedan IIRC

I see this car for sale relatively close to your area. Don't know if you are interested in coupes or not

bugman Welcome,

Definetly take the SES, the price is right for that many miles. I have seen some members here that have SE models buying SES tail lights and other SES items. Save some money and start out with a SES especially with Sync. Also have a trusted mechanic look it over top to bottom, you might be able to get some money off or get something fixed for free if you find it before you buy it. For instance I got new front brakes for my wifes car when we bought it used.

gregm5s7 I don't know how car prices are in your area, but that seems kindof high for what I would want to pay. I would look private party

09vistabluecoupe The automatics in these cars aren't the greatest. I would keep looking for a 5spd. But out of those two, I would take the '08 SES. It looks much better, and has more features.

A7xschecter6661 I paid $14k flat for my 2011 with 15k miles. Loaded with everything but a sunroof.
Leather, heated seats and mirrors, mood lights, sync, fog lights

Keep looking!

NCdriveff Noted. I plan on taking the vehicle I choose to my mechanic despite the 12+ hours they spend on it in their shops. Just in case.

matmatician Don't read into mileage too much. I made that mistake. Bought my focus at a screamin price, it only had like 53k miles on it (and it was ~5 years old when I bought it) and was by far the lowest mileage focus in my price range. 10k miles later, I replaced the engine because the previous owner apparently either a) drag raced it and blew some seals in the engine, leading to massive oil burn and low compression or b) didnt bother to change the oil and totally effed the thing up. Just make sure the car was well taken care of and listen for any weird noises.

NCdriveff Yeah, that is what I am thinking myself. I think the only thing make hesitate is the miles on the vehicle. I do like the SES better.
