For a DD, you might actually be happier in a>>>fox body<<<. It is cooler to have this level of power in a Focus, but get ready to spend some money getting there.[/QUOTE]

This thread became the Dave Ramsey thread quick. Lol. Glad to see people are waking up to getting out of debt, it's a good move. Now back to the OP.
Tom will know what is best. For a DD, you might actually be happier in a fox body. It is cooler to have this level of power in a Focus, but get ready to spend some money getting there.

|Jmaczx4st||I have had both RWD mustang and now my FWD ST focus. I have to say I Love my fofo and with the right mods they are a beast and fun to drive. I agree a faster car isn't always better. It's the thrill of the drive!|

I was planning on race clutch and LSD, but wasn't sure if the tranny/drivetrainn could handle that power. I don't want to snap the input shaft or halfshafts or something. Kind of want to run street slicks and a wheelie bar, because why not?
However, I may be looking into a fox body

Well first of all the OP is gainfully employed by our Government (or enslaved), is young, and can more then pay for it with his income.
I would also look at making sure the front end can fit a nice 235-40/17 tire, that would give the the best chance of getting the power to the ground.
I would also look at getting a good clutch kit, LSD is going to be mandatory as well.
