I dyno'd mine bone stock with the DCT and then with the Injen RAI same day, 30 mins apart...the traditional 20% drivetrain loss is associated with RWD cars that have TC's, d/s's, etc...12% loss is pretty accurate.

Besides, even if we were to assume that they were under-rated by some random number, wouldn't you rather have that than have a car that was over-rated? Imagine spinning the dyno to sub-130hp numbers on an engine rated at 160hp...
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter anyways. You don't drive the engine, you drive the car. I'll take whatever I can get, preferably for as cheap as possible

|sleepyboy||There are many variables that come into account altitude, temperature, humidity, and most important the dyno. Each dyno will read different. The consensus is though these easily put down 140hp+ and respond to bolt on's very well.|

Seems pretty standard fair. FWD typically has lower drivetrain loss than RWD and with the new DCT transmission, the drivetrain loss is less than a traditional automatic.
The engines are rated 160hp, dynos show 140+
My engine is rated 143hp and dynos show about 120 so.. yeah seems about right on the mark to me.

You don't necessarily have to believe it, that's your choice. My car put 144hp in OEM configuration. Most all OEM graphs have been showing high 130's/low 140's,
If worse comes to worst, then you can always go and put your car on the dyno
