|thisisbenji||So maybe the Sparcos + 235/45R17 RE-11s. The Bridgestone site says those tires are good down to a rim width of 7.5 so I'd supposed the Sparcos fit the bill.|

I remember this article from a couple years ago about different size wheels/aspect ratios:
It's not perfect but nice to see some actual testing done. They went from a 195/65-15 all the way up to a 235/35-19 (24lb difference between those two sizes )
generally they saw more grip as wheel size increased/aspect ration decreased but also increased acceleration times.

RPF1's would be awesome to have, apparently there are sets floating around with the 5x108 bolt pattern, but I've only seen one show up on eBay.
Sparco Asseto Gara's are still probably going to be your best bet for something lightweight and not overly expensive. They are 19lbs ea. for the 17's and 21lbs ea. for the 18's. 18" O.Z. Ultraleggera's are 18.5lbs ea. as well.
I agree though, our options for wheels is really limited.

Yeah... I got to say though I'm disappointed in the wheel options available for our bolt pattern.
I'd love to have some Enkei RPF1's in 17x8 form.
Only 15.6 lbs.
