sgtsmasher There are places you can zip tie it too, like i stated before its just hanging there now with chicken wire holding it off the ground, ill post pic later

sgtsmasher Im going to anyways for one i had 2 different batteries in the car that leaked every where and all the paint is coming off of it and it a cheap ebay cai anyways so im not to worried about it

katiekay Get a new inner fender, they are only $8.00 at rockauto, no need to hack up a perfectly good cai.

sgtsmasher im going for it tomorrow, im bringing it to the shop for something else. and just going to have him take it out cut it and mount the filter on and bolt it back up after banging the crap out of the fins like dirt and crud

sgtsmasher well im still looking to have cold air going to it, with it sitting in the engine bay its not getting as much cold air as if it were sitting on the ground practically. what youve done is basically made an extended SRI.

Mitch1989 Ha. I know a guy who has a bagged s10. He has a K&N filter coming directly off his MAF w/ no tubing becuase of the same thing. Good luck!

sgtsmasher thats what i was thinking... i want it kinda tucked out of the way also. right now its just hanging there getting all the crap from the tire and held off the ground with chicken wire. all the brackets broke off just like the old ones always did!
