You should search the forum for contact information for a Ford Customer Service Agent and get them involved if your dealer refuses to fix it; there are TSBs out for the issues you are having, which they should perform at the very least.

Good luck.

Focus033 I have a 2014 SE automatic hatch. It is a fun car to drive when it works! I just had my clutch replaced by the dealership. I'm hoping the fix works, but I sure wouldn't buy another one. Just my two cents.

Thanks.
I'm not sure if it comes in all models but my titanium came with a remote starter from the factory.

Is there any difference between the 2014 auto transmissions and the ones cited here with all the problems (2013 and before and most notably Titanium models).
As I recall, the model I would like to purchase does not have any bells and whistles, it is the basic SE model with automatic transmission.
Any advice? Did Ford change things for the 2014's or certain late build 2014's?
thankyou.
Honestly I'm not sure if they changed things. But, if I knew than what I know now I would pass on the focus. As far as the trans its the same in all the focus models. My issue is never ending. Im tired of fighting about this. I make my payments on a regular basis. I have never been late and I have been complaining about this since I picked up my plates 2 weeks after I bought the car. And every time I go they never find a problem. So I have to prove to them I'm having an issue with my trans that is a known and documented issue. They make me jump through all kinds of hoops to prove I'm having the issue. I should have just kept my 90 accord with 200+k on it.

Are you having them install the free remote starter?

carol3162 I have a 2012 focus Titanium, loved the car until my malfunctioning and engine light came on at around 63k and my car stopped accelerating at various times? Is this Transmission problem?
One dealer said no, it was wiring problem from Remote starter installed incorrectly by dealer. I have push button start with automatic trans. Now I have at another dealer for second opinion. Any thoughts out there?
