Well i will be honest idk if it soft or not...im used to a mustang clutch really....so the clutch is soft to me all the rime i guess....i can be running 50 in 6th and gas it...it
revs.....as long as im above 3500rpms it dont slip...if it does it isnt but a few times....1st & 2nd r fine.

if something i have a svt master cylinder assembly, from my svt 2002.

|FordManSVT||When you said you let off the gas and get back in it. You mean push the clutch in and the release it? The way a dealer will yes you clutch is put it in 5th gear and slowly let your clutch out. If it stalls the engine your clutch is ok. However it can be in its way out for a while before that happens. My brother nursed his for a few months once it started going. Take it out on the highway and get in 5th gear. Slow down to say 55 and go wot. If the engine revs and the car doesn't accelerate very wel it's slipping. If there is air in your clutch line the pedal won't feel firm at the too of its travel.|

|backnblack||The lines in ur master cylinder that run thru ur firewall are held in by 2 clips to the fluid lines....take ur fuse box and battery out and there not to bad to get to....master pulls out from under dash...just changed mine...it sucked....changed mine and still slipping...now worse...new clutch is gna be nxt i guess|

carefully? Not really sure...i just remember bench bleeding.
I assume its filling with fluid and manually doing the pumping action.

|BigRed03||sometimes people have had issues bleeding new master cylinders and have bench bleed them before re installation.|
