Andrews-bad-SE ^this. gm v6's are a biznitch. especially when putting plugs in it. A worse one is the Ford Duratec 3.0 v6.

It could be worse. My last car was a GM FWD V6. The Focus is child's play in comparison.

And trust me. I've come extremely close to taking the Benelli out to the carport with some 3" 00 buck. But, like I said, that was due to the previous owner (and a bad mechanic)

coldbear Other than routine maintance on my 02 ZTS my ride has been flawless. 165,000. miles and still on the original timing belt. I believe in that Sea Foam for emission control.

iminhell Why?
Do you know what the Cam Sensor controls?

Advice has been given twice that it could be a Crank Sensor, which I also say it could be. I don't understand why you come here looking for advice then willfully ignore it.

Where did all this oil come from?
Maybe it's the root cause?
A VC gasket isn't going to cause "oil everywhere".

autos Going to replace the easy cam sensor first, hope it is not the crank
