clnzx4 Thanks guys. I'll probably end up taking it to the dealership. I hate dealing with the idiots that work at my local Ford dealership.

UnFocusedST I think you need both PATs keys to program additional without paying someone to do it.

clnzx4 Hmm. I'll have to check into that. Getting it programmed and the dash harness are the 2 things keeping me from moving forward. I don't have much left.

Salesguy Mobile lock and key guys can usually program them too, and cheaper than the dealership

clnzx4 Well almost good to go. I'm a lot closer than what I was.

clnzx4 That's what I thought. I need to program it and get a dash harness then I should be good to go.

LikwidZX5 I believe you will have to take it to the dealership. If he would've given you at least one key, you might have been able to reprogram your others. But with no key, the PATS system won't let you start the car without the correct signal from the key to the computer IIRC.

clnzx4 Question.. When I bought my 2.3, the guy sent me the computer but no key. I've been told I have to get my key programmed to the new computer, but I've also been told I don't. Can anyone give me some insight on this? I'd like to save my $114 if I don't have to take it to the dealership to get it programmed.
