Not all of us have the Selectshift... In our case it's best to drive it like we stole once it's up and moving, but gentle on getting on and off the throttle at low speeds, just like you wouldn't want a stick shift to start bucking when in low gears... but yes, the snorkle delete with drop in will help get off the line better with DCT's for sure, and using premium fuel definitely helps with that as well, especially in the hot summer weather... And after snorkle delete/drop-in I'd go with at least the FSWerks motor mount insert for only about $13 shipped, insanely better driveability with that alone and is easy to install. The e-RMM is the next best option but costs more and is slightly trickier to install, I'm definitely very happy with just the insert.

I just bought a new (32 miles) 2014 SE Hatchback DCT, appearance package, etc. I CAN'T WAIT TO REMOVE THAT SNORKEL NOW!!!!! I'm just bummed that the weather is too cold to do it.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to adding more mods. RSB, RMM, Closed drop-in, Exhaust, Tune, and weight reduction.

PS - after what I have read, and seen on youtube- having the DCT scares me... to the point of needing soft, reassuring words!

Ya, they did "something" that knocked it out from fully seated... who knows but it clearly wasn't seated when that repair was completed, it was noticeably louder upon picking it up... I took a look and it wasn't super obvious, there just happened to be a gap from the bottom of the air box to the top of the resonator tube... I just kind of pushed everything back together and the intake noise subsided.

Tigeo ^^^Disconnecting the battery should not be necessary; the ECU will figure this out v. quickly..its not a big difference for it to deal with.

Yeah it was the hole under the air box, and I disconnected the batteries negative post from the car to clean the MAF.

Only dropped one insert into infinity below and found out the negative cable post is PITA to reinstall so I basically had to re-tap it with the original bolt. Other than that....two thumbs up for sure!
