SVTF 03 If your talking about the 3 header collector to cat bolts.....just cut them off. It's quicker and easier. If your talking about the bolts that hold on the heat shield.... I suggest you carefully cut the welds for the standoffs and smooth the welds out. It will look much cleaner and look more professional. I did mine and haven't looked back.

blackonblacksvt03 pb blaster and use some common sense if they feel like they are going to break off STOP and get out the torch sometimes just a simple tap on the socket will shock the nut loose

Header wrap - anyone break bolts from manifold?

I'd like to wrap my header since the heat-shield is now only held on by gravity. But I'm worried about getting the bolts out without breaking them. Anyone break off the bolts? It's not a place that I'd want to use a torch so what do people suggest to ease the job?
