pyzik Well I was reading of some complaints about the sound (noise) that the ram intakes are giving off compared to the stock intake.

Threw on a filter and left the cover off to hear the difference. Yeah, it's pretty loud.
Rethinking doing an entire ram intake now.

Hmm care to elaborate? From last oil change mines pretty shredded too. Moreover, the areas around the mounting holes are starting to fray too

It's not really a snorkel on the ST, more of a venturi nozzle to direct the air flow through the core support and into the air box unlike the nvh reducing snorkel on the base model. Well when the car wasn't misbuilt with the base snorkel on the ST
