macdiesel I love this knob. I bought a threaded adaptor so I can run it on my speed3. Also, if it's too cold for anyone in the winter, Amazon sells a silicone shift knob cover for like $5. The condensation from your hand could frost the knob over. Not nearly as cold and the silicone helps when driving with gloves.

Krusty Driver I guess it just depends on what you've got mounted. I'm running the Steeda STS so it has a 1" spacer under the knob so I don't find I need a zip tie. If you want a tight fit so the top of the boot stays in place, I would probably use one. Great knob though, I've had mine a couple years now and still looks good, although it does get cold in the winter. The extra weight sure helps with getting the stick through the gates.

thatdudereeg just ordered the mammoth 6 speed in gunmetal for my '14 SE last night. anyone know if I still have to do the zip tie on the boot (as the third pic shows) or do i just skip to the zip tie on the shaft?

thatdudereeg anyone know if this still works on a '14?

thejordan shift knob is nice, but my budget is more like half that.

Krusty Driver I guess after buying alot of aftermarket parts, most of them being a nicely machined aluminum, then pulling this out of the box, just straight powder coating. Particularly in the grey there's no real flash factor. Don't get me wrong, I was impressed with the weightyness (is that a word?) of it and it went on slick as snot. I just think if they had an emblem and/or shift pattern as an option it would just break up the single colour a bit. I'm getting used to it though and it does match the Liquid Grey of my car.

macdiesel Just curious. How were you underwhelmed. Look good

Krusty Driver Installed mine a week ago on my Steeda STS. I was a bit underwhelmed about the appearance, but function over form. Fits perfectly to the aluminum spacer from the shifter. Very heavy, just getting used to the size, quite a bit bigger than the Steeda knob I had on before. It definately works well, just fall into each gear nicely.

Man this knob makes my old knob look like a marble. Really changes the feel of driving. It's big, but doesn't feel too big. And the coating looks thick. We'll see how it holds up in the years to come. When I got my Twm off and in the house the finish wore down to almost a mirror finish but stayed colored around the base. I put a lot of miles on that knob though.

Anarchy motive knobs give you a reason to drive. Thanks again Best.
you're welcome man, glad you're enjoying it!
