iSkeetSkeet I am new but I did decide to take mine off, have not missed it since. I like the feeling of openness there.

katlamb I love my Titanium but find it very uncomfortable for long drives, even 1 hour drive gets a bit uncomfortable for me. I am a short, only 5 foot and I have to scoot the seat up so far that my elbow lands just behind the gear shift intsead of the armrest, so I can't use my cup holders at all. Other than that I'm happy with it armrest or not...

Where are you putting this padded stub now?
Haven't built it yet. Going to wait until it is a bit warmer so it doesn't take forever for the fiberglass resin to cure.

stealthzx3 This is true^ Comfy, yes, but very tall. It's also comfy without because of shifting.

Diesel I know people that pay up to $200 to add armrests to their cars. I wouldn't part with mine.

stealthzx3 Exactly. I put mine back on (when i still had the armrest console) after having it off for a while, and i wondered how i lived with it.

People say it sucks when you go on long drives without it, but i drove 7+ hours last weekend and didn't have any problem without it.

gondorian I took mine off last weekend and I like it a lot better. I'm over 6' and I didn't have problems with shifting, but the parking brake was a real pain to use with the armrest. Plus the latch was broken anyways. I'm happy with no arm rest overall, usually both hands are on the wheel or one is shifting or about to shift again.
