|Eminaga||Just did a snorkel delete with ITG filter and the car definately feels "better". Feels like there is more power down low and also up top. Also my car seems to have the newmission mod from the factory I am not sure if they all have it or not? Does the new mission mod just make the hole on the bottom of the intake box bigger or what? Mine already has a hole there... I was thinking maybe its the 2014 thing only since I could not tell if other years had it.|

What if we just have a complete after market CAI does it still apply? With the hp gains? What should I notice :)

|dyn085||Once I took the snorkel off of the car I threw it away. I doubt it makes a difference with any of the aftermarket intakes, but it definitely won't hurt them or make them any quieter.|

Idk why I quoted this
Do you keep your snorkel off when you're running the steeda? Or just th K&N? I run the steeda and wasn't sure if it'd make a difference. How much louder is the car with the delete with the steeda intake, with the steeda being as loud as it is anyways.

All those little holes in the stock snorkle are a silencer. They quiet the noise from the intake.
Sort of like a gun silencer.. Or the holes in the inner parts of some muffler designs..
They may flow a little air too.. But the main reason for them is to make the intake quiet. The sound wave pressure travelling out gets broken up by the holes...
