Was about to say the same thing. I'm sure I can put it on, but the added support wouldn't be there. I'd rather spend the money on the NewMission Mod considering where I'm at.

you definitely would be able to attach it, but it might not be supported as well. Only the 2 pushpins would be holding it. With the rubber frame, I would assume the bottom and the cutout part lightly keep the FR snorkel in place. With smooth driving i think it would be fine.

I'm not sure that would actually be an issue since you have to cut through the rubber frame to get the Steeda/Ford scoop in in the first place.

Yah, kinda screwed myself on ever getting a Steeda or Ford scoop. That rubber frame got yanked out when I did the snorkel delete as suggested in this thread.

Bingo. I'm kinda tempted to get the Ford racing kit that thatdudereeg posted since, as mentioned earlier, I've yet to buy the filter to begin with and I think it would totally up my street cred.

I'm no expert (so others chime in) but after reading through both threads to get the best understanding I could, it really just seems that this is much easier and nets roughly the same benefit: a little perk in power, some perk in throttle response, and improved gas mileage on your daily driving. The scoop people are mentioning is a little tube that replaces the snorkel on our cars and gives a greater ram air effect on the intake (also accomplishes the intended purpose of the newmission mod).

Exactly . I would love to get one of the Ford CAI snorkels but I cannot believe it will do anything but my wallet light.
