amc49 You're going to stay unsure until you tear it down and look at it...................

Jdevaney89 Is this to repair windows that arent working? My driver side window isnt working and i assumed it was just a new motor as when i press the button the interior light dims.

Im now unsure?

amc49 Sorry, I spoke out of context there. On some Fords the glass is held to regulator proper by plastic pins. Thinking rear on these like that, I sometimes use bolts with self locking nuts instead of having to apply force putting pin back in. When doing so you must resist the urge to tighten them like a normal bolt. Kiss to take up all slack and stop there. I rebuild both the front and rear regulators provided I can recover them before they are hopelessly tangled up.

Also, the front glass is held in place by metal clamps that squeeze down on the glass to hold it, you can shatter the glass by overtightening them.
