Bybepl My car is a 5 speed, so maybe that's the difference. Just doesn't feel any different at all.

Sorry guys, just being honest.

FFhb13 I dont think its a placebo effect all....as soon as I did it, car felt more responsive, dct shifted better less jerky....was.a great mod.

dyn085 Found and edited the first post with the dyno charts to address the placebo effect. I thought they were there before but maybe they weren't. I've posted them in here too many times but they aren't much help if they're buried.

Anyhow, at least my car is about 4 ounces lighter now.
It will not really be any louder until you remove the resonator on the bottom of the air box. And even then it is only subtly louder.

You should have better throttle response.

If you want to enhance this mod update to the ERMM as well. That is where you more clearly feel the effect.

Yes,most of it is a placebo effect but the dyno says there's a solid HP increase but unless it's around a 15-20whp increase you really won't notice it. My intake is a tad bit louder at WOT and that's according to my wife who has little care I did the mod in the first place.

It's not exactly Wacky for the Originator of the thread to suggest you start at the beginning for the clearest info..

Fifty pages of discussion/comments/questions does VERY little compared to looking at the original info. and development of the Mod..

Too much to squeeze into a single reply, referring you there is more useful & accurate than ANY of our memories.

You can then see test results, Dyno & actual use, what changes were found NOT necessary, and when this mod is the most functional compared to other options.

No need to believe a single response, see it for yourself.

Once you have that info., a fresh question on something not understood might be posted, and answers received more likely to be understood. Reading multiple comments from those who don't have that original info. just leads to additional confusion.

With an attitude like that you're more likely to be shunned than banned.

If you don't have time to read what has already been discussed, why would you expect everyone else to immediately take the time to repeat what they and others before them have spent their time contributing?
