I had the one on my wifes Flex get stuck closed...lol
I was trying to pump gas and the nozzle wouldn't go in.
Had to just jam it in there. (Yeah I know. "That's what she said" Haha)

I had a stuck flap on my 2011 Escape, which also has the same type of gas fill as the Focus. I used the emergency gas funnel to push in the flap and then removed the funnel quickly, which reset the flap. Code gone.
