I guess that we are lucky that there is just some tape holding the emblems on. you can remove them with no permanent damage (no holes) and then slap them back on if you get tired of the debadged look or when you trade-in/sale your Focus.

I do wish that the current Focus emblem was in a font like this. I don't like the current font.

Let's end this discussion on something we can all agree on: These two "custom" emblems look kinda' stupid. However, as I stated above, it's your car...your money.

I like the badge that looks like it was hand written rather than just flat text or the ugly badging on the second gen us cars. I'm not fond of that font.

But then I liked knowing from the book about the 1996 Ford Taurus how it was the signature of one of the designers that was used for the badge, but I was maybe 10 or so by the time I'd read the book and found that out.

Oh well to each his or her own. But yes those custom edition/limited edition stickers are useless.

Twenty I took my Focus badge off because it was large and italicized, whereas the SE was tiny and in plain font. I kept the SE though just so the back didn't look too empty.

thunderwoof I like the clean look when debadged. What's the point of the badge anyway? Telling people what options/packages you car has or doesn't have?

JimsterG And the Corolla still has the 4 speed transmission too!

Is it just me, or does it seem that the current Corolla body style has been out for a hell of a long time?

My wife and I have bought quiet a few new vehicles in the past several years and every time we look at a Corolla, it still looks the same as it did before.

whit3hat I guess I am young and wouldn't mind being called kid but to me it makes it clean looking to not have all those badges on it. I mean look at older "classic" cars if you will most will have 1 badge on the back. Not like today where put a piece of plastic to denote every option in your car. I love the way the debadged focus looks, really clean and simple. I think it makes it look more sporty. Plus with the cheap tape they use on them anyway they are just going to fall off anyway as much as I wash it.

Timbo64 I just ordered another emblem from Team Ford Parts. If I get tired of the debadged look, I'll slap them back on.
