HuskyFocusSP Hi does anyone have the update files for Sync. Here in Australia the cars are delivered with out Sync having the ability of using usb2. I have added the cable and it charges the phone but Sync doe not understand or know what the command Usb2 is.

FordIVTteam Hey, everyone -

Our testing shows Apple implemented a non-standardized implementation of Bluetooth Message Access Profile (MAP) on iOS 6. As a result, iPhones will not fully work with the text messaging feature. We'll continue to work with Apple to ensure future compatibility.

If anyone has additional SYNC or MyFord Touch-related questions, give me a shout.

Jaclyn

Nope, 3.5.1 is the current latest, but technically they only want you to have the dealer install it (and if you have the navigation you'd need the new A4 card).

12RedHotHatch After upgrading the iPhone 5, I started having all kinds of Bluetooth Audio issues. My dealer just upgraded me this morning to MFT 3.5.1 and in the driving I have done since, it appears the Bluetooth Audio problems are fixed.

I am not going to bet on them having the A4 card. They did not know about the TSB until I told them. If they do not have it, I am still going to have them do the update and order the A4 card. I use the Bluetooth audio more than the navigation.

That has nothing to do with compatibility.

Either the phone implements certain Bluetooth standards (correctly) or it doesn't.

thisisbenji I'm kind of bummed on the ios6 issue. I upgraded from my prepaid android phone with the hopes of having more Bluetooth features work. In fact less of them work. I probably should have went with a windows phone seeing as sync is powered by Microsoft.

Since upgrading to the iPhone 5, I have started having Bluetooth Audio issues. I have so far, lost Bluetooth Audio after the navigation voice told me where to turn, when the Bluetooth Audio is the entertainment selection when starting the car, and when just driving down the road and it just stopped playing. I have also had it that my phone does not show as connected to MFT but Bluetooth Audio worked. Once the connection is lost, it seems impossible to reconnect to Bluetooth Audio without stopping and turning the car off. Also the album and song titles hardly ever update.

I have an appointment with my dealer to have MFT updated through TSB 12-11-01. It is supposed to have Bluetooth improvements. Since I have navigation, it requires an update maps SD card.. I am also having my droopy rearview mirror fixed.
