Hi, ic0der -

Was your Focus imported from the U.S.? I'd like to help, but it's possible your system may function differently than the one here. PM your VIN and some details, I'll see what I can do.

That said, I'm not sure that anyone here's going to be able to help out the OP on this one although we do have some European members that might be able to relate.
Ahhh, Good Information to know..

ic0der I'm not sure I understand this part "I thought you were streaming audio from the iPhone to the stereo."

Anyways, have you checked the youtube link in the original post?

I really appreciate your help!

Tiger-Heli Okay - the description on the Ford audio software site specifically mention updating the radio to work with the latest phones and Bluetooth, so I think that update is just for the SYNC and up stereo's.

I thought you were streaming audio from the iPhone to the stereo.

If you are just using it as a USB Mass Storage Device, I'm not sure why the USB port would stop working.

ic0der Bluetooth? I don't really know if the car has it. However, it does has a USB Port.

Tiger-Heli Maybe - The S doesn't have SYNC. I wasn't sure if it had USB or Bluetooth, but I guess you confirmed it does.

ic0der Yes I'm following the instructions literally. However still the screen gives me Empty USB no files. maybe it does not work with S model?

Tiger-Heli I'm assuming you are following the instructions here:

http://www.ford-mobile-connectivity....structions.pdf

??? Also - the instructions don't say so, but you should be using a USB drive formatted as FAT32, the update file needs to be extracted (not a .zip file) to the highest level of the drive - and it's probably best if no other files are on the drive.
