Funny you mention this, last week some s broke my car window and some people stole my university furniture and laptop... over 2000$ of stuff was stolen, and Mister officer told me: I know this is sad... at this spot, in Montreal, it happens 2-3 times per week.... people here steal because it's a good spot !
Lollll

Even a LED strip added is considered illegal for "modification" reasons

Like I said, some officers are hired only for this purpose. But not all of them arrest you for these reasons. You have to be lucky one doesn't get on your case....

Be a FREE MAN not some slave for the state to suck off of.

Different problem here in Canada... my friend did fight back their ticket, and most of people who had some also... You go to your town's court, and most of the time tickets are incomplete (no decibel meter proof) and the officer doesn't show up in court, which gives you an automatic "win" on your cause... but the same week, you'll get another one from the same bastard.
The only way to get rid of this problem is to go to the vehicle inspection society to get a certificate that proves you car is Okay (which you usually don't get because you'll have other mods like tint, or smoked tailight, or HID's...) and they'll give you a certificate that you keep in your car if you ever get caught again... (that's what my mustang friend did). Even though, Mister officer arrested him again, this time with twice the amount of fees (because it was the second time you got caught for the same reason). My friend showed him the certificate. Police officer gently responded: nothing's telling me you didn't change anything between your approval certificate date and now, it's not my problem, fight it in court. Plus, he responded, third time I get you for the same reason, it's twice the amount$, plus you car gets towed right away and you'll need an inspection before goin back on the road.

= TOTAL WASTE OF TIME
